APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University officially cancelled all intermediate sem exam. Intermediate Exams 1. internal marks 50 will be added to this 100 marks. 2. Total in 150. 3. Extra 5% moderation to to all subjects. 4. Grade Cards of this semester  will be issued after passing in all the previous exams.  5. If students not satisfied with marks can appear for exams again (S2, S4, S6). 6. S2 students can appear for improvement exams of min 2 S1 subjects. Final Year Exam 1. Online exam to be conducted internally by colleges. 2.. Marks thus obtained will be regulated with previously obtained marks. 3. OXFORD COVID-19 VACCINE : AZD1222 The vaccine did not prompt any serious side effects and elicited antibody and T-cell immune responses, according to trial results published in The Lancet medical journal. London:  An experimental COVID-19 vaccine, being developed by the University of Oxford, was safe and produced an immune response in early-stage clinical trials in healthy volunteers, data showed on Monday. The vaccine, called AZD1222 and being developed by pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and scientists at Britain's University of Oxford, did not prompt any serious side effects and elicited antibody and T-cell immune responses, according to trial results published in The Lancet medical journal.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two students who attended  Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical  (KEAM) examination in two different centres in the district have been tested positive for Covid 19, adding to the concerns of Capital which has been struggling to cope with a huge surge in cases.It is learnt that one student from  Karakulam attended examination  at a centre at Karamana while another student from Pozhiyur attended the exam at a centre at Thycaud. The mother and siblings of the student from Pozhiyur have also been tested positive.The health team has initiated contact tracing of other students who attended the exam in the same hall. The students who were tested positive have been shifted to first-line treatment centres. The examination was held on Thursday.The student from Karakulam was made to sit in a separate room in the examination centre after it was communicated that the student was under observation.
